How FormStride builds your training plan
FormStride turns your injury history, fitness level, and running goals into a personalized, adaptive running plan. Form analysis is an optional layer that sharpens the plan — not the starting point.
1. Tell us about you
Create a free account and complete a short intake. Share your current weekly mileage, running goals (5K, marathon, staying healthy), injury history, and general fitness level. Takes about 3 minutes.

2. Get your personalized training plan
FormStride builds a week-by-week training plan tailored to your body — not a generic schedule. Your plan factors in your injury history and fitness baseline from day one, then adapts based on how you respond as you train.

3. (Optional) Add a form video
At any point you can upload a 5–15 second side-on clip. Pose detection runs in your browser, measuring cadence, overstride, trunk lean, vertical oscillation, arm symmetry, and more. The analysis sharpens your plan with mechanical insights — but it's never the gate.
4. See progress over time
The Progress page brings together your training sessions, distance and duration trends, completed drills and form metrics so you can see how consistency in training translates into improvements in how you move.
5. Daily check-ins keep your plan sharp
A 15-second check-in on sleep, soreness, and fueling shapes your week. Your adaptive training plan uses recent runs, recovery signals, and form priorities to decide when to push and when to hold back.
Privacy by default
Pose detection runs entirely in your browser. We only save the computed numbers, coaching data and one still-frame thumbnail to your account. Your raw video stays in memory and is discarded when you leave the page.
A note on coaching
"Perfect form" depends on pace, distance, body type, and goals. FormStride gives you healthy ranges and friendly guidance — not a diagnosis. Stop running and consult a professional if you experience pain or injury.
